Vacant Spaces is an audit which has been built up and maintained by City Centre Initiative in order to give an accurate reflection of Vacancy Rates within areas of the City Centre. The Vacancy Audit assists City Centre Initiative when working with existing and potential tenants to identify appropriate space within the City Centre for their business.
High levels of vacancy can have a detrimental effect on the physical image of the city centre and also on the economic success of the existing businesses. It is City Centre Initiatives aim to maintain an up to date list of all Vacant Space within the City Centre and to act as a conduit between property owners and businesses to ensure that these spaces are occupied when possible.
By bringing vacant units back into use it will help drive footfall in our city and complement the existing retail offer, reinvigorating the City streets.

We are currently seeking information from owners of property within the core commercial area of Derry~Londonderry City Centre. We are particularly keen to hear from owners of properties with the Historic Walled City and Streets with high vacancy levels such as Carlisle Road and Spencer Road.
